Abstract

The second half of 40th years of 20th century is characterised by penetration of influence of Soviet Union into the Eastern Europe. The specific trait of this process was the quick and dramatic change of general system of social relations and renouncement of search of any other variants of social development, with exception of communist variant – in line with the Stalinist model. The author is evaluating the significance and influence of external, that is, „soviet" factor upon the sovietisation of East-European countries. This factor is not negliged, but author is refusing its absolutisation as the only factor in instalation of communist dictature in the region and is aiming its attention to the process of „self-sovietisation„ of East-European countries.
